
HIP-HOP artist Barbioulis released a new single on Friday, 3 March.
The song, titled Thando Lwami, features artists like MajorSteeze and Rooi.
Rising star Barbioulis, whose real name is Tsepo Mashale from Kwamashu in Durban, started out as hairdresser and became a musician six years ago. Now he is pursuing his passion for music and already has some remarkable collaborations to his credit.

“The song is about love as deep as the ocean and I am convinced that my fans will adore it,” he said.
Barbioulis said he finds it difficult to balance his work as a barber and as a musician.
“It’s a tricky, difficult situation because I've never had time to rest, but I'm working hard to reach the top," said Barbioulis.
The opportunity to cut the hair of prominent top artists like Cassper Nyovest and Black Coffee has shown Barbioulis that his skills are truly exceptional.
Celebrated musicians like Burna Boy, Wizkid and Kizz Daniel influenced his artistic path.
Barbioulis said he is striving harder than ever to become South Africa's most outstanding artist.

Barbioulis said he has also collaborated with Blxckie, Namibian musician Gazza and Ajura from Nigeria. He gained attention from the music industry after releasing his first song titled Too Much.
“It was also a good moment for me when my fans calling me 'Pop Smoke' the late American rapper. I assure them that I'll soon release my first EP,” he said.
