COMEDIAN Molemo “Lemii LoCo” Lehoko wants people to be united.

The 32-year-old funnyman said it's important to show love to one another in a country that is going through a lot.

Lemii LoCo, who was born at Tlhabane in Rustenburg and raised in Soweto, told Daily Sun that many people are experiencing pain and hardship in their lives and want to feel loved by others who are doing well.

The comedian, who recently landed a gig as a KitKat ambassador, said he uses his social media platforms to unite people and guide them on the importance of creating a safe space for others who lost their loved ones or going through heartbreaks and pain to show some love.

"The latest project is with KitKat and it’s super exciting. It is a great blessing and opportunity to be part of the 'Put A Smile In Your Break' campaign," he said.

Lemii LoCo said putting a smile on someone's face is a gift. He said that's what he wishes South Africans can for one another.

"Laughter is really the best medicine. As South Africans, no matter how tough times may be, we always resort to humour to see us through those tough times," he said.

Lemii LoCo said that's why in most of his performances he makes sure that his audience leaves with smiles on their faces.

"It’s always been my dream to be a stand-up comedian and I will be exploring that now to add to my bag of tricks," Lemii LoCo said.
