GOSSIP blogger Musawenkosi Khawula briefly appeared in Vredenburg Regional Magistrate on Wednesday, 8 March, where a pre-trail conference was supposed to take place.

Khawula, is accused of the murder of his ex-boyfriend Wandile Khambule on 4 March 2022.

Khawula allegedly stabbed to death his then 35-year-old ex-boyfriend in Vredenburg.

It is alleged that he went to see Wandile, who he was romantically involved with, and found Wandile with his girlfriend.

It’s alleged the girlfriend told them to go outside and later heard people begging Musa not to stab Wandile with a knife.

Khawula was later arrested and made his first appearance on 7 March 2022.

After Khawula saw SunTeam at the court premises, he held himself in a guardroom for hours to avoid cameras.

On 19 September 2022, Khawula was taken to a taxi rank by a cop van after he spent hours running away from the paparazzi.

On 19 October 2022, he entered and left the court premises inside his lawyer’s car.

Khawula was early at court as he once survived a warrant of arrest last year in September after he appeared in court late.

The controversial blogger was in court for less than five minutes as Magistrate Byron Pedro postponed the matter to 26 June.

This is to give Khawula and his legal team time to prepare.

Khawula was warned not to interfere with witnesses and avail himself at the court at 9 am.
