A FORENSIC and criminal expert, who is working on the Facebook rapist case, has urged cops to extend an olive branch to Dr Nandipha Magudumana.
Dr Nandipha is accused of allegedly helping Bester escape from the Mangaung Correctional Centre on 3 May 2022.
The Department of Correctional Services confirmed Bester escaped after it was believed he had committed suicide by setting himself alight in his cell.
Calvin Rafadi, the investigator at Bizz Tracers, told Daily Sun that according to their investigation, Dr Nandipha was also allegedly lured into the criminal world by Bester through Facebook.

He said he believed she was in as much danger as the rest of the women who got involved with Bester.
He said he believed that at this stage, Dr Nandipha was scared to come forward to tell the police the truth.
"I edge our law enforcements to conduct a press briefing and arrange with NPA/DPP to rather use her as a State Witness 204, more especially that she was also a victim and lured into some criminal activities," he said.
He said another reason he believed Dr Nandipha was a victim was that she met Bester on social media and only visited him afterwards when she apparently went to deliver a suit and a fancy watch as seen in some of Bester’s prison photos.
He said Dr Nandipha had also been linked to the renting of a R2,5 million Mercedes-Benz allegedly for Bester.
The said vehicle was allegedly found at the Beitbridge border post driven by another man, but it had Zimbabwean number plates.
Daily Sun is in possession of the documents, showing the rental agreement with a dealership in the north of Joburg.
