RESIDENTS from Barcelona squatter camp in Gugulethu, Cape Town, are shocked after an 84-year-old gogo was allegedly attacked by rats inside her bedroom.

Gogo Nonzinga Qonga had been sick since December 2022, and her family looked after her at home.

But on Friday, 12 May, she was found dead in her bed.
