Three people were injured on Friday, 28 January after the bus they travelled on crashed into the roadside barriers on the N1 highway outside Bloemfontein.
ER24 spokesman, Russel Meiring said paramedics and another service arrived on the scene at 5:45 am to find a bus blocking the left-hand lane, partially on top of the barriers.
“Several people were seen seated along the roadside.
“Medics assessed the patients and found only three adults from the seventy passengers had sustained minor injuries,” Meiring said in a statement.
He said no serious injuries or fatalities were found.
“The patients were treated and later transported to a provincial hospital for further care.
“Local authorities were on the scene for further investigations,” Meiring added.
