
SECURITY officers say they are gatvol of not being paid on time.
The angry guards took to the streets on Monday, 27 March to show their rage and complaints.
The security guards told Daily Sun that they are angry with the City of Tshwane for not paying their employers on time.
The guards also closed the municipal offices in Bronkhourspruit and vowed that they won't be opened until the city management addresses them.
According to the guards, they haven’t been paid for the past two months and they don’t have transport money to go to work.
Chairman of Nyevalution group, Sipho Ndinisa, said the city failed to pay companies.
"We are suffering, we have families to feed, and our matter needs serious attention, and we need an apology," he said.
He said everything is a mess and no one is happy working under such conditions.

"We have engaged the city, but they are failing to resolve the matter," Ndinisa said.
Deputy chairwoman of Nyevalution group, Winnie Mtsweni, said it's almost a year of not being paid on time.
"We are being failed by this municipality and we are tired. Enough is enough!" she said.
She said they will keep on protesting until their grievances are heard.
Jabu Mabona from the City of Tshwane Bronkhourspruit office, said they're aware of the matter and last week he met the security management.
"We escalated their matter to the city's department that deals with security matters," he said.
