Ba2Cada returns to Lesedi FM!

NYAKALLO Leine, popularly known as "Ba2Cada", is back on Lesedi FM after being off-air due to a dispute with the station.

The well-loved 41-year-old radio presenter, celebrated for his motivational content and strong connection with listeners, resumed his breakfast show on Monday, 17 February, which he co-hosts with Twasa.

Ba2Cada was suspended after failing to attend his afternoon show on 30 and 31 December 2024, without informing station management.

His absence led to tensions within Lesedi FM, with some managers advocating for his return while others were against it.

Speaking to Daily Sun, Ba2Cada said: "I don't want to indulge in the past situation, but I can confirm that I'm back on radio."

He shared a message with his supporters: "Keep listening to Lesedi FM to take it to the number one spot!"

"Making a difference in people's lives through radio."

This year marks a significant milestone for him. "I'm celebrating 21 years in radio," he said.

Apart from radio, Ba2Cada is also passionate about soccer.

"I've got a soccer team. That's one thing I'm so passionate about, making a difference in kids' lives through soccer," he said.

He still has big aspirations in the media industry. "I still want to see myself grow in the industry. I'm one of the fortunate ones to start at a very young age. Tere's still more I can do despite all the challenges."

For him, radio is more than just entertainment.

"Use this platform to make a change in Mzansi, bring hope to young people through radio. People are depressed, radio motivates them when they have challenges," he said.

When asked who he looks up to in the industry, he quickly responded: "The late Thabang Rampoane. He was a legend on Lesedi FM. Currently, Justice Ramohlola holds that position," he said.
