FOR the first time, since it was founded in 2022, the Basadi in Music Awards will take place over two nights for the first time, promising an even bigger celebration of powerful women shaping Mzansi's music industry.
The event will be held at the Joburg Theatre on 1 and 2 August, under the theme: Symphony of Harmony, Four Elements of Nature.
Night one will feature the exclusive Vanguard Awards, a private, invite-only evening that shines a spotlight on the technical and behind-the-scenes professionals who play a key role in shaping the music industry.
Night two will be the official Music Award Night.
Here, the spotlight will turn to women leading from the front, musicians, performers, and creatives who continue to break boundaries and inspire generations.
"The growth of Basadi in Music Awards is testament to the increasing recognition of women's influence in both creative and technical fields.
"Expanding over two nights allows us to shine an even brighter light on those working tirelessly behind the scenes while maintaining the grand celebration of musical excellence," said Founder and CEO of the Basadi in Music Awards, Hloni Modise Matau.

Earth represents strength and timeless elegance, Water speaks to fluidity and grace, Fire symbolises passion and fierce determination, and Air stands for freedom and innovation.
Guests are encouraged to reflect these elements through their attire, embracing bold colours, textures, and fashion statements that celebrate individuality and creativity.
