GOSPEL queen Dr Rebecca Malope can't wait to perform in front of her fans in the United Kingdom.
Malope told Daily Sun it would be her first time celebrating her birthday in Birmingham in the UK.
She said her fans organised the birthday celebration.
Malope will be turning 55 years old on 30 June.
The queen of the gospel will leave Mzansi on 29 June, and her birthday celebration will be on 1 July.
"It's a one-day celebration, it will be the first time to celebrate my birthday outside South Africa, and it's the first time for fans to organise a birthday for me," she said.
The Angingedwa hitmaker thanked her fans for loving her and said she loved them too.
"It feels good to see people outside the country showing such love for my music career and celebrating with me.
"Their love humbles me. I will perform all their favourite songs," said Malope.
She said it was not her first time performing in the UK.
Malope said this was a happy moment for her and wanted to make it memorable.
The legendary gospel singer said she has been in the music industry for 35 years and is enjoying her moment as a worshipper, woman of God and grandmother.
She sent a fond message to those who shared a birthday with her.
"Please stay warm and continue praying for each other," said Malope.
