Yanga said this is her way of serving people in another way, other than singing.

IDOLS SA winner Yanga Sobetwa has opened a new business.

The 23-year-old ynga, who won season 14 of the singing competition, opened a make-up company called Betwa Beauty.

She spoke to Daily Sun about the new venture.

"Betwa Beauty is more than just a make-up service. It's a labour of love driven by my passion for serving others. As a devoted Christian, I believe that serving God's people is a fundamental aspect of my faith. With Betwa Beauty, I aim to provide exceptional service that not only enhances physical beauty but also uplifts and empowers individuals," she said.

Yanga said this is her way of serving people other than singing.

"I'm excited to share my passion for beauty with the world! As a creative entrepreneur, I've discovered that the beauty industry is not only a platform for self-expression but also an opportunity to serve others. God has blessed me with many talents, and I'm committed to stewarding them well.

"With Betwa Beauty, I'm excited to combine my love for beauty, creativity, and service to make a meaningful impact in the lives of others," she said.

She said she's hoping to take it across Mzansi and all over the world. They're currently based in Pretoria North, Gauteng.

"In the next five years, Betwa Beauty aims to launch its own international make-up line, establish make-up studios in every province employing hundreds of women and empower young, underprivileged women through free make-up workshops. We're committed to partnering with big brands to make this vision a reality," she said.

Yanga recently received a co-sign from American singer and actress Jennifer Hudson.

Hudson came across a video of Yanga's performance on Idols.

Jennifer said she was a fan of Yanga.

She previously told Daily Sun that seeing Jennifer's reaction was priceless.

"It's humbling and heartwarming. Idols was such a transformative experience for me, and the fact that people are still touched by those performances all these years later reminds me why I do what I do. Music truly has no expiration date," Yanga said.
