WHY is Lebo M divorcing his Pretty wife!
On Tuesday, 1 August, the Joburg-based music composer and director caused a stir on social media when he announced that he is divorcing his fourth wife, Pretty Samuels Morake.
Lebo M confirms statements
He confirmed that all statements released under Lebo M Productions are legit. When asked why his wife did not know about the divorce, he said he didn't want to comment any further on the matter.
Lebo M said his wife, who is in her late 40s, was in possession of his electronic signature when he was on a European tour from April to 27 June 2023.
He said he gave her powers to sign documents on his behalf while he was away. Upon his return, he said he asked her to destroy the electronic signature and delete it from her computer.

Lebo M said this caused an altercation between them, adding that he also told her to sign an affidavit stating that she had destroyed the signature and had not done so.
Wife asked to sign affidavit
Lebo M said that he asked his wife to sign another affidavit, stating that there were no policies she was aware of, and that would be affected upon his death, which she and others would be beneficiaries of.
He also said that he requested that she forward the affidavit to him via email or WhatsApp, which she has failed to do.
"This has placed me in a position of great discomfort, and I fear for my life and that of my children. I am worried and do not understand why my estranged wife refuses to sign the second affidavit. I am consulting with my attorneys to investigate and verify whether I have any fraudulent life policies in my name and/or any life covers taken to ensure my life without my knowledge and consent, as this would be tantamount to fraud," Lebo M said.
Pretty not aware of any divorce
When the SunTeam contacted Pretty, she said she wasn't aware of the divorce.
"I don't even know what you guys are talking about. He hasn't said anything about the divorce," she said.
