RADIO DJ in hot water.
A 34-year-old radio personality from Vhembe, Limpopo is in trouble for allegedly sexually assaulting his six-year-old relative at her home on Monday, 12 May.
The accused, who is a DJ at a radio station in Thohoyandou, was bust on Monday, 19 May following investigations by Waterval detectives.
Police spokesman Brigadier Hlulani Mashaba said: "The girl's mother, who was in Pretoria at the time, was notified by the child's grandmother that the minor was unwell. She returned home immediately and learnt that the child had already been taken to hospital, where medical examination confirmed the sexual assault."

Mashaba said the victim alleged that the suspect showed her inappropriate material before assaulting her.
The accused made his first appearance before the Waterval Magistrates Court on Tuesday, 20 May and the matter was postponed to Tuesday, 27 May.
Limpopo police commissioner Lieutenant-General Thembi Hadebe expressed serious concerns regarding the incident.
"It is deeply disturbing when those who should be protecting our children become the very perpetrators who harm them. The suspect's position as a public figure and family member makes this case particularly troubling as it represents a profound betrayal of trust," said Hadebe.
She assured residents that action will be taken.
