AWARD-WINNING musician Makhadzi will be the first celebrity guest judge at Crown Chasers (CC3) on Saturday night, 6 July.
The Limpopo-born artist Makhadzi joins resident judges Leandie du Randt and Lerato Kganyago this weekend when the second episode of the acclaimed Crown Chasers (CC3) will be broadcast on S3 on Saturday at 8.30pm.
This was announced in a media statement on Monday, 1 July.
On the first episode of Crown Chasers, which aired on Saturday, 29 June, the Miss South Africa organisation revealed the top 16 finalists competing for the crown.
The top 16 are Taahira Katz, Onalenna Constantin, Ontshiametse Tlhopane, Palesa Lombard, Reinette Potgieter Kebalepile Ramafoko, Kirsten Khan, Layla Zoubair, Lebohang Khoza, Lethaukuthula Maseko, Mia Le Roux, Naledi Matlakala, Nobuhle Langa, Nolene Spinks, Nompumelelo Maduna, and Chidimma Adetshina.
In the episode, the chase for the Top 16 officially begins, celebrating the beauty of heritage and being proudly South African.

A cooking challenge tests their teamwork and gives them the opportunity to share dishes that are not only meaningful to them as individuals but also showcase the food of their culture.
A fun dance challenge has the teams bringing the MoFaya to the floor.
The first elimination of the season reminds the finalists that this is a competition.
Makhadzi has long been a beloved figure on the South African music scene.
She established her own record label, Makhadzi Entertainment, in 2023 and began to work on her sixth studio album, Mbofholowo.
CEO of the Miss South Africa Organisation congratulated Makhadzi.

The 2024 winner will be crowned at Sun International's flagship venue, the SunBet Arena at Time Square, Pretoria, on Saturday, 10 August.
The event promises to be a spectacular and entertainment-packed show that will, once again fittingly, take place during Women's Month.
