LEGENDARY presenter Makhosi Khoza goes back home to hold top position.
Makhosi, who has more than 30 years of experience in the radio industry, has been appointed as station manager at Mpumalanga-based commercial radio station Rise FM.
He previously presented prime time shows at the station, including the breakfast show and afternoon drive shows a few years back. Makhosi said it's good to be back at the station in a top position.
Makhosi, who was born in Eswatini and is based in Mzansi, said Rise FM has big potential to be the biggest radio station and he will work on making it the biggest radio station.
He has worked for many radio stations such as Radio 2000, East Coast Radio, 702 as well as Vuma FM.
Makhosi told Daily Sun that he wants to shake the world with Rise FM because he sees the potential of doing that.

"I worked for the station as the presenter for the breakfast show and afternoon drive show and I know the station's DNA.
"I'm happy that I'm back in management to see where the issues are because the station has big potential. My work will be easy because I have received a warm welcome and I have met my old friends again at the station," he said.
Makhosi said now it's time for him to focus on management and improve the station while giving young stars a chance to be behind the mic.
"I can't do both. I have chosen to be on the management side and allow others to shine behind the mic. Going back behind the mic isn't even my idea at the moment," he said.
He also joined KZN-based commercial radio station Gagasi FM as a content specialist in 2019 and left the station in 2022.
In 2024 he joined the online radio station based in Durban called Zone Radio, where he was presenting a Monday to Friday afternoon drive show called After school is after school alongside former East Coast Radio presenter, Zaba '\"KweenZaba" Simbine.
