KWESTA has been making music for 16 years.
But he said he won't release new music anytime soon.
The rapper, whose real name is Senzo Vilakazi, told Daily Sun that he isn't in the right state of mind to release music.
The Spirit hitmaker said that he's still making music.
"I'm not releasing anything until next year. Releasing is a state of mind that I want to be in, and I'm not in that state of mind right now," said Kwesta.
He said letting his music out to the world isn't simple.
Kwesta said he is still creating more music, hinting at his gratefulness for the love from his fans and supporters.

"The creation process is happening but the releasing process I haven't even begun to think about that yet," he said.
"Thank you for holding me down these 16 years that I have been with you. We just won the Best Kwaito album with Kabza De Small for Speak and Frostan. Thank you for that."
The rapper said his fans should be patient with him about new music.
"Just give me time so that when I give you something it becomes something good not something I just said I should release because everyone is releasing," he said.
Kwesta said that he is doing amazing mentally.
"I say amazing because I'm working on it, and I care about my mental state. I work on it every day so it's progressive," he said.
Kwesta said he's working on the mental state of everyone around him.
"They're working on their own and we are figuring out how to be together in that sort of space and that's what creates the creative space," he said.
