RHOD star Nonku is in on a mission to look great.
The reality star, whose full name is Nonku Williams, said she wanted to look beautiful the way she always wanted to. The 44-year-old Durban-based businesswoman told Daily Sun that her journey began a few months back when she started to invest in her health and fitness.
Nonku said she made positive lifestyle changes and began my Glow Up smoothie range to cater to women who're on the go but still want to be healthy.
She said her Plastic surgeon advised her on a weight loss regime and they started the Klutch Kick Start Programme, which is a healthy diet and lifestyle plan with some supplements and weekly injections.
Nonku said she had done her arms, back, tummy, and thighs.
"I wanted these areas to be smoother and more refined. I want to look great no matter what outfit I choose to wear. There is a lot of false information out there.
"I've learned that Liposuction is not for weight loss or removing massive amounts of fat. It's also for defining certain stubborn areas that even diet and exercise aren't helping," she said.
Nonku said she is now feeling better about herself.
"I feel good. It's still early days and I'm still tender and swollen after my lipo.
"I'm using a faja garment which helps a lot with swelling and discomfort. The weight loss journey has been difficult but I've been disciplined, and consistency is key," she said.
Nonku said the liposuction journey was emotional, rewarding, scary, and exciting all at the same time.
Nonku said she wants to be authentic with the people who follow her journey.

"Everyone is doing it, but no one wants to talk about it. It's not always all-natural especially when it's done by a good Plastic Surgeon, you won't be able to tell.
"I've tightened and toned up my body a lot with healthy lifestyle changes. I did have assistance with the weight loss by my doctor," she said.
Nonku said as a working mum whose body has been through pregnancy, she just wants to feel good.
"I'm using my healing time to rest and rejuvenate. I've engaged in multiple businesses more is coming from me," she said.
Her message to young people is that they must always go for what they want in life. She said they must always value God and their loved ones.
