According to Makhadzi Entertainment spokesman, Lucky Tshilimandila, Makhadzi was hit by a car.
"They were going to Gauteng to perform there. So after getting information from the driver, the driver said he heard some noise at the back of the car and that made him to stop to look at that noise or what the noise was all about. So as he was looking at the noise, some of the team members got out of the car.
"They were stretching. Then a car came and unfortunately, they did not see that car, which then hit Makhadzi. So, that's what happened," he said.
