PATRONS at Dukuza Lifestyle in Middelburg gathered to honour legendary American action star, Chuck Norris.
They turned grief into celebration after news of his passing at the age of 84.
The venue became the heart of the tribute, transformed into a lively and nostalgic space dedicated to the icon.

His images lit up every screen, while printed photos were placed across the venue, some carefully decorated with white flowers as a sign of respect.
But instead of a quiet memorial, the atmosphere was filled with energy.
Patrons danced, laughed and waved placards bearing his name, celebrating the man who shaped their childhoods.
Many stopped taking pictures next to his portraits, capturing memories of a star who meant so much to them.
While tributes have been pouring in on social media throughout the week, with fans sharing their favourite moments from his films, the gathering at Dukuza Lifestyle brought those emotions to life in a shared physical space.

The memorial comes after the Norris family confirmed his passing, sharing that he died peacefully surrounded by loved ones.
They described him as not only a global icon but also a devoted family man whose influence stretched far beyond the screen.
For those in attendance, Chuck Norris was more than just an actor. He represented strength, discipline and heroism qualities that left a lasting impression.

The mood inside the venue reflected both loss and appreciation, as patrons honoured his legacy in a way that felt personal and joyful.
The owner of the establishment, Sibusiso, said the event was about celebrating someone who played a big role in their lives.

"We realised that since he passed away, nothing was done to honour him in Mzansi, so we decided, since we are the generation of Chuck Norris, we should do something. We used to watch him, follow him, and imitate him at times.
"We wanted to thank him for the childhood memories he gave us and celebrate him," he added.
