IT’S been a year since Miss USA 2019 Cheslie Kryst jumped from a 30-floor building and took her life.
Former Miss Universe Zozibini Tunzi took to social media to remember the beauty queen.
She posted a video of the first time they moved in together. At the time, Zozi stayed with her in the same apartment during their reigns as Miss Universe and Miss USA.
Zozi said it’s been exactly a year since Cheslie died.

In May last year, Cheslie’s mum, April Simpkins spoke about Cheslie’s death in an interview on Red Table Talk with Jada Pinkett Smith, Willow Smith and Adrienne Banfield-Norris.
She said Cheslie sent her a message before taking a life and she quickly went to catch a flight to be with her.
She said that attempt wasn’t her first one. She had tried to commit suicide before. However, she didn’t know it was severe.
