THE people of Tshwane continue to live in fear.
Just last month, socialite Jerry Ditshego was shot dead in the face.
And now, on Thursday, 16 March, Joel 'Juju' Pilusa, a well-known man in the kasi, was gunned down at Mabopane block C.
ActionSA Gauteng Chairperson Funzi Ngobeni said they are mourning the passing of their slain member.
“He was full of life and energy, having stood as a Ward 21 candidate for the 2021 municipal elections. He will surely be missed. We hope that police investigate the matter with the urgency it deserves to ensure that culprits are held accountable for this tragic incident,” Ngobeni said.

Police spokeswoman Colonel Dimakatso Sello said the cops responded to a shooting incident at Unit C in Mabopane.
“On arrival, the members found a man lying on the ground in a pool of blood with gunshot wounds. The victim was declared dead on the scene,” she said.
She said the circumstances that led to the shooting are unknown, and no suspects have been arrested.
“The police request anyone who may have information about the incident to please contact the Crime Stop Line at 08600 10111 or anonymously report tip-offs on the MySaps application,” she said.
Social media users and Juju’s friends shared messages of condolences on social media.
Reuben Kheswa wrote: “I was still coming to terms with the tragic death of my cousin when disaster struck again last night. It was a double blow, and I couldn't extricate myself from the nightmare. My Wife was crying uncontrollably, and I was just not strong enough to comfort her as I shed some tears too."
Tlhogi Ambani Sinclair wrote: “You didn't deserve to be murdered in such a gut-churning manner, Rest in Peace.”
Patience Mmampho Lemao wrote: “I just saw a very disturbing post about Juju Joel Pilusa. What is wrong with our people? May God heal this land. What has Juju ever done? I'm shocked and in disbelief."
