THE Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) has no time for amavila.
The party has removed 210 "lazy people" and "dead woods" from its ranks.
The public representatives were recalled from their positions for failure to organise transport to the EFF 10th anniversary rally held at the FNB Stadium in Joburg last month.
EFF leader Julius Malema told the media in Kempton Park, Ekurhuleni on Sunday, 27 August at the party's Central Command Team (CCT) that they took serious exception on these leaders who had more than five months to organise transport for their constituencies but failed to do so.
"We are removing 210 public representatives and we do so unashamedly. Out of 1 200 public representatives, we are removing 210 and we will remain with 990 good members of the EFF. The servants of the people who are ready to respond to the call at any time.
"Don't tell me about lazy dead wood. We have no time for dead woods. I have no time for staff riders with no capacity to lead," said Malema.

He said all their leaders in the EFF are expected to be all-rounders with a maximum and unquestioned capacity to organise, mobilise, educate, agitate, and also fundraise for all activities of the organisation.
He said one of the recalled leaders is a member of parliament (MP) who submitted a quotation as proof that she hired buses.
"Up until this morning, she was still lying that she paid for a bus. This MP submitted a quotation and thought that we are fools, and we will confuse the quotation for an invoice," said Malema without revealing her name.
He said he did not believe the removal of these leader would disrupt EFF's election programme and campaign.
Malema also said he heard about parties who are part of a group of seven for the first time.
He said the EFF is an independent organisation and will stand as such in the upcoming elections.
