SIBONGILE Zulu said vutha is following her and has destroyed her home four times in three years.
And she said even though she received a five-roomed house at Rama City in Tshwane on Saturday, 16 December, vutha might destroy it again.
So, the 34-year-old, who had been living in Vosloorus, Ekurhuleni since 2012, appealed for help from a powerful sangoma or prophet to help her stop vutha.
Losing everything
She said there was no peace in her Vosloorus home.
"Some evil and jealous people are sending vutha to my house and it has destroyed my home, furniture, and clothes. Even though I rebuild my home, vutha destroyed it," she said.
The mother of four said in October 2021, their seven-roomed house burnt down and she lost everything. The house burnt down again in July 2022, in August 2023 all her furniture burnt to ashes and on 13 October 2023, it burnt down completely and she was left homeless.

Sibongile said that a sangoma told her that jealous people are sending vutha to destroy her.
Sibongile said the house that was attacked belonged to her husband's family and her late husband, Jabulani Richard Ngwenya (55), who was an Umkhonto we Sizwe member, died 10 years ago.
"I'm not working and don't have money to support my children. We will have a dark Christmas because as we speak there is no food and my children don't have Christmas clothes. I'm appealing for any kind of help so that we can enjoy Christmas like other people," she said.
Finally getting help
She said the new house came at the right time as she had almost given up.
"I'm now relieved and had a peaceful sleep on Sunday for the first time. It was hell in Vosloorus after the death of my husband. I'm thankful to everyone who played a role in us getting a home," she said.
Sibongile said that EFF MP, Kenny Motsamai, came to their rescue and made things happen for her to get a house at Rama City.
Her sister, Akhona (23), said: "This is painful and we were always scared to live in that home. We are happy she will be stress free."

Sinah Mothapo, general secretary of Rama Communal Property Association, said they were approached by Motsamai, who told them about Sibongile and her children.
"We decided to allocate her a beautiful house so that she can have a home. We are happy to help a widow of former Umkhonto Wesizwe member," she said.
The house was made possible by Motsamai, Rama City, developers, and other partners.
Traditional healer has a say
Traditional healer Kuppe Banda said vutha is a special missile which comes in the form of fire, and it can burn anything at any moment unexpectedly and can happen daily.
"It's a very stubborn creature and indeed the particular person can get help and vutha can be stopped and destroyed with those who know how to deal with it," he said.
