TWO men arrested after police chase.
They were arrested after they crashed a hijacked vehicle into a wall during a police chase in Ivory Park, Ekurhuleni on Saturday, 11 October.
Police spokeswoman Captain Neldah Sekgobela said officers were on routine patrol in the Kaalfontein area when they received information about a hijacked motor vehicle.
"Police pursued the vehicle, which later crashed into a wall in Ebony Park. Two suspects were arrested at the scene," said Sekgobela.
During the arrest, police recovered a 9mm Star pistol, nine live rounds of ammunition, a replica firearm and eight blank rounds.
Sekgobela confirmed that the owner of the vehicle, who was hijacked and kidnapped in Germiston, was also found at the scene and safely rescued.
