He said these are just allegations to tarnish the name of the church leadership, particularly that of Bishop Michael Sandlana.

THE International Pentecost Holiness Church (IPHC) spokesman, Priest Vusi Ndala, briefed media in Tshwane regarding alleged rogue SAPS members hired to only arrest, intimidate and threaten IPHC leadership.

He was speaking at their IPHC head office in Karenpark, Tshwane on Friday, 13 October 2023.

According to Ndala, the alleged fraudulent ownership transfer of two church buses by the IPHC Jerusalem is a lie, adding that their church won't steal their own buses as church property belongs to them.

He said these are just allegations to tarnish the name of the church leadership, particularly that of Bishop Michael Sandlana.

"How can we steal our own property? The buses belong to the church, provided they are still intact. The church has plenty of buses, trucks and bakkies because we are a kingdom, we have grown, we have facilities, and we have a farm.

"Furthermore, we have a spiritual community which need to be fed and because most church members come from poor backgrounds. Both Tshepiso and Leonard Modise renounce their rights to be leaders of the church. The buses belong to the church. Those are old buses and both of them are worth less than R250 000 combined," he said.

Ndala said after a court case, procedurally they notified them that in 14 days they must vacate those premises, but they haven't done so.

"But ultimately they will vacate those premises because we've taken a legal step," he said.

He said the properties belong to the church. Ndala said that there is still tension among the Modise brothers. "We have screamed at the top our voices about the dishonesty and misconduct of the rogue police officers. We don't have trust in the police force any longer," said Ndala.

He said if they continue to be pushed, the way it's happening, they will not hesitate to protest again like they did in March 2022 when they went to the SAPS headquarters.
