SERIAL rapist Lolo Madigoe will spend more than 60 years behind bars.
This comes after the 40-year-old from Seleteng Village in Lebowakgomo outside Polokwane was sentenced by the Limpopo Division of High Court in Polokwane on Wednesday, 30 August for multiple rapes, assaults, kidnapping and housebreakings with the intent to commit a crime.
This follows a lengthy investigation executed by the Lebowakgomo Family Violence, Child and Sexual Offences (FCS).
His reign of terror started on 10 June 2015 after he unlawfully entered the house of a Zimbabwean woman (36) in Seleteng Village at about 1am and raped her in front of her three minor kids and her 14-year-old sibling.
Limpopo police spokesman Colonel Malesela Ledwaba said another brutal incident took place on 23 July 2017 when he raped a gogo (74) from the same village who is the mother of his friend.
"This is after Madigoe and his friend shared drinks at a local tavern before he went to the friend's home and raped the gogo before fleeing the scene," said Ledwaba.

He said Madigoe continued with other evil acts until his arrest in October 2020.
While at his home in Seleteng Village, Madigoe was positively linked with 10 offences through a DNA analysis, which was not contested during the trial.
"He was sentenced to 10 years on count one for housebreaking with the intent to rape, life on count two for rape, eight years on count three for housebreaking with the intent to commit a crime, and 10 years on count four for assault with the intent to cause grievous bodily harm.
"He also received eight years on count five for kidnapping, 15 years on count six for rape, 10 years on count seven for housebreaking with the intent to rape, life imprisonment on count eight for rape, life imprisonment on count nine for rape, and 15 years on count 10 for rape," said Ledwaba.
In addition, Madigoe was also declared unfit to possess a firearm.
