A PREGNANT woman, Thulisile Ngolomi (31), has met her brutal death allegedly at the hands of an ex-lover.
The incident happened at Emalahleni informal settlement between Mangweni and Ecaleni section in Thembisa, Ekurhuleni, on 10 August, a day after Women's Day, a day when women were supposed to be loved and shown appreciation.
It's alleged the ex was jealous of her, as she seemed to have moved on with someone else and was expecting a baby with her new lover. The suspect's nephew hinted to Daily Sun that the suspect wanted to stab him earlier as well before he went on to Thulisile.
"He wanted to stab me because of a girl who was interested in me and not him. I told him to stop what he was doing, and he left. Later, I heard the sad news that he had killed the lady," said the nephew.

"My uncle told me what he had done, and I took him back to the scene so he could see what he had done," the nephew said.
It's reported that the suspect didn't accept the fact that Thulisile had moved on with her life, and when he saw her sitting on the lap of another man, he allegedly fatally stabbed her in the back.

One witness said after he stabbed her, residents cornered him and gave him a beating. He was taken by an ambulance to the police station after the victim was declared dead on the scene by authorities.
"I remember he said he was going to stab his nephew, and we told him not to do it. Little did we know that he would stab Thuli. This is sad because the lady was a

hardworking woman who was selling pies to make a living," said another witness.
"We didn't think of taking the knife away from him. The next thing I saw was him being beaten up by residents, and he admitted to having stabbed her and said he deserves to go to jail. I don't know him like that. He's usually a good person. We don't know what changed him today to become this person," said the witness.
Ekurhuleni police spokeswoman Captain Neldah Sekgobela said the suspect is in police custody.
"He was arrested for murder and is still under police supervision in hospital. He will appear in court soon," Sekgobela said.
