ALL madala wanted was to add a little spice to the bedroom. And although his 4-5 worked just fine, he took imbiza hoping he would have fire rounds.
But the 64-year-old from Protea Glen in Soweto is now adamant the imbiza killed his 4-5 and he regrets taking it.
"I know people might think that I'm old and that's probably why my 4-5 doesn't work anymore, but they're mistaken because I'm young in spirit," he said.
He said he bought the imbiza from a sangoma in Meadowlands in October 2022 and drank it immediately when he got home.
"I was excited and sent a picture to my girlfriend to show her we'll be up all night the next time she comes. My girlfriend is young and she loves to poke. All I wanted was to please her," he said.
But when the day came, madala discovered that his 4-5 wasn't working. So he drank more imbiza and slept, hoping things would get better.
"I usually wake up with an erection, but that didn't happen. This started to scare me and it just got worse from there," he said.
He said his girlfriend (31) expected a joyful time, but was disappointed by that his 4-5 didn't work. Luckily, she didn't dump him at the time and kept coming back even though the imbiza wasn't working.

But she eventually broke up with the madala in January 2023.
So in an effort to fix things, the madala went back to sangoma Mkhumbuzi Sibeko who sold him the imbiza. The sangoma allegedly told him he has been selling it for more than 10 years with no complaints.
"I'm annoyed by this, but I'm hurt because my girlfriend dumped me," he said.
When Daily Sun spoke to the girlfriend, she said the madala should leave her alone because she has moved on with her life.
"I'm young and it's not fair that I'm now in the middle of this. He's the one who killed his own 4-5. Please leave me out of it," she said before hanging up.
On the other hand, sangoma Sibeko said he's never had a client complain about his imbiza.
"The madala's aim is to destroy me and I'll come after him," he said.
Meanwhile, Dr Tshidiso Motseki said erectile dysfunction can be caused by a number of things including lifestyle choices and medical conditions.
"It becomes more common as a man ages. Erectile dysfunction can be embarrassing, disheartening and can put a strain on one's relationship.
"Fortunately, there are many things like lifestyle changes and medication that can help one overcome this condition," he said.
He advised the madala to talk to a doctor about ways to treat the condition.
