THE police are appealing to anyone who has been a victim of the arrested advocate, who is accused of theft and fraud, to come forward

Advocate Amoidahh Manamela was bust by the Lyttelton detectives on Monday, 1 December 2015.

According to Tshwane district police spokesman Captain Johan van Dyk, Manamela was arrested in connection with several charges, including theft and fraud.

"The accused, Manamela, is alleged to have forged multiple documents and misled clients for personal financial gain," he said.

Van Dyk further said the woman had been evading arrest for an extended period.

"Through co-ordinated investigative work, detectives successfully traced and arrested her to ensure she is held accountable for the charges she faces," he said.

Van Dyk added that the accused appeared in the Pretoria Central Magistrates Court, and her case was postponed to Monday, 8 December 2025, for a formal bail application and further investigation.

Police are appealing to individuals who may have been victims of the advocate to contact the investigating officer, Lieutenant-Colonel Mathola, from Lyttelton Police Station on 082 715 9583 or 071 675 6421.
