FUNERAL details of beloved Orlando Pirates superfan Charles Fantisi confirmed.
The passionate Buccaneers supporter, who was affectionately known as Makhalanjalo, will be laid to rest in Sasolburg, Free State on Saturday, 21 March.
Makhalanjalo, who was born in Bloemfontein in the Free State, passed away at Fountain Private Hospital in Carletonville on Friday, 6 March following a short illness.
Known for his unmatched energy and loyalty, Makhalanjalo became a household name among Pirates supporters for attending matches topless often with motivational messages written across his chest to inspire the team and fellow fans.
His nickname, Makhalanjalo, meaning "he who is always crying", reflected his deep emotional connection to the club, especially during tough times on the pitch.
