It’s no secret she’s had a few rough years – but Enhle Mbali has always kept calm and carried on. Even when her estranged husband revealed intimate details of their marriage to a national Sunday newspaper without her consent, she maintained a dignified silence.
Enhle (32), who has two kids with DJ Black Coffee (44), said she wouldn’t discuss her private life to protect her children.
Recently, however, the actress and businesswoman poured out her heart. “The last 3 years have been testing. Emotionally, physically and mentally,” she said in an Instagram post.
“I have been through so many life changes and I’m grateful as the universe continues to show me my greatness, even when it was being viciously stripped away from me.”
From picking up the pieces of her broken heart to dealing with the public humiliation of a crumbling marriage, she’s proof you can’t keep a good woman down.

A BROKEN MARRIAGE
Earlier this year Black Coffee suggested they split – via email. He told City Press he’d proposed “we should separate, and she should find a place to stay with the kids”.
According to him, they had “tried everything, such as a seeing a therapist and a life coach, but nothing worked”.
Although Enhle hasn’t said much about the split, if her post is anything to go by she’s healing from the hurt and taking back her power. “People lie in your name’s sake. They will cheat, mistreat you, allow others to mistreat you only because you give them permission,” she wrote.
“I have always known I am not a victim and don’t act the part, but now more than ever I understand no one else gives permission but yourself.”

COPING WITH COVID-19
Despite taking precautions, the Isibaya actress revealed she’d tested positive for the coronavirus and is currently in quarantine.
“I also tested positive for Covid as careful as I am. They even make fun of me on set.
Yesterday was one of the worst days, I was pretty sure my chest would give in, I gave myself permission to heal and also to ask for help,” she wrote.
Despite being bed-bound with the virus, she’s clearly keeping her spirits up and getting the help she needs.

VIOLENT CRIME
Two years ago, Enhle was held at gunpoint during an attempted hijacking.
The actress was driving a new Porsche her ex had gifted her when she was stopped by three armed men who pulled her out of her car and stole her jewellery.
After being discharged from hospital where she was treated for shock, Enhle humbly thanked the woman who had come to her rescue.
