They are South Africa’s new favourite couple, and they are expecting their first bundle of joy.
The Wife actor Bonko Khoza and actress Lesego Khoza are expecting a baby and the couple couldn’t be happier.
They have been married for two years and together for 10 years.
In an interview with Drum, Lesego previously shared that they met at drama school and they have been together ever since.
“Being married to Bonko is amazing, he is such an amazing talent that I have known for so many years and I couldn’t wait for the world to witness his greatness. I am married to my best friend, and nothing has changed between us. We are living life the way we always have.”
In an Instagram post shared by both, they revealed that they will now be a family of three.
Bonko stole the hearts of South Africans when he played Mqhele Zulu on The Wife and he has been booking roles since his departure from the show.
“I am really excited about the future. Mqhele was great but I know I have so much more in me, my best is yet to come. I believe in an alignment of things and having fun because then great things are bound to happen," he shared in a recent interview with Drum.
Bonko is preparing for a Netflix show where he will be playing a wannabe priest.
“The show is called City of Gold and it based on a cop who adopts two brothers and then unexpected things start to happen."
