She may be a porn star. But she wants people to know that she is also many other things, and that sex work is honest work.

She started sharing her content for adults on platforms such as OnlyFans after one of her videos was leaked.

What was intended to shame the Durban-born adult content creator turned out to be her chance to make a living, openly and honestly.

Now Xoli Mfeka is a well-known face in South Africa and she lives her life at ease with herself and her truth, she says.

Even her family is aware of what she does for a living – and she is comfortable, financially, banking about R70 000 a month from her creations.

We spoke to her about how and why she started doing adult entertainment. In the podcast, she also shares the challenges she has overcome in her unique career journey and what sexual liberation means to her as a woman in the sex industry.
