Sexy time should be exciting for you and your partner and if you are single, it should be part of your self-care time.

Sex toys may be a taboo in some cultures but as women are getting empowered they are taking charge of their own sexual pleasure and are no longer waiting to be pleased but rather they know a few things about self-pleasure.

Women's sexual pleasure can seem elusive.

According to pleasure better, 81.6% of women don’t orgasm from intercourse alone (without additional clit stimulation) and only 18.4% of women orgasm from vaginal sex alone.

It is also reported that women take an average of 14 minutes during partnered sex to orgasm and an average of 8 eight minutes during masturbation.

Sex toys play a huge role in helping women explore their bodies and they also are a great way to spice things up in the bedroom.

From vibrators, whips, and sex game cards, sex does not have to be boring.

We spoke to sex educator and sex toy shop owner Kgomotso Masela about using sex toys for the betterment of relationships and she took us through a list of sex toys beginners should be aiming for.
