Freese cools cup double talk Platinum Stars Telkom Knockout MTN8

accreditation

Dikwena, who finished a point behind Premiership winners Kaizer Chiefs last term, advanced to the Telkom Knockout quarter-finals on Sunday with a 2-0 defeat of Maritzburg United in Rustenburg.

A week earlier they pipped Orlando Pirates to honours in a penalties victory in the MTN8 decider.

And while pleased with their progress, Freese feels it is premature to talk of another domestic triumph in the offing.

"We can't talk about that now. I think it's still in the early stage," Freese tells snl24.com/kickoff.

"We are waiting for the [TKO] draw [tonight] before starting to prepare accordingly for our next opponents."

Regarding their latest win, he added: "I think we could have scored more than two goals, especially in the first half where I believe we created enough chances.

"At the end of the day, I am happy with the score and the performance from my players."
