Sundowns were crowned treble winners after securing a 1-0 victory over Bloemfontein Celtic in the Nedbank Cup final last week but faced some uncertainty due to a technical team oversight.
Suspended defender Tebogo Langerman was named on the bench which led to Siwelele lodging an official protest, but it was eventually thrown out by the SAFA arbitrator on Friday.
And after the news reverberated to North Africa, the club legend and record scorer sent out a message to their continental rivals.
"I would like to congratulate Mamelodi Sundowns Football Club on their achievements this season by winning the domestic treble in South Africa," he said. "We'd like to wish them to continue their success in the upcoming seasons."
