Al Ahly manager Pitso Mosimane has had an eventful holiday season, and among the special things he has done with his family more recently is hosting legendary South African Kwaito group Trompies at his house!

Affectionately known as Jingles, the decorated coach has been enjoying some quality time with his loved ones, giving him a break from the congested football schedule.

From the pictures, you can tell that his days off have been nothing short of eventful as he also went on a trip to the gorgeous island of Zanzibar.

Zanzibar

It seems that the trip to Tanzania’s marvel of a tourist destination, Zanzibar, was quite special as the former Bafana Bafana boss met up with some Springboks’ stars including Franco Mostert, Jesse Kriel, Malcolm Marx and Willie Le Roux, who all won the 2019 Rugby World Cup.

If you ask any passionate South African sports fan, that is quite an ensemble of prominent sportspeople.  And if that didn’t seem fun enough, Mosimane then had Trompies under his own roof in a nostalgic evening affair.

“Thanks Bafowethu [my brothers], thanks Eugene for making it possible at my house nogal [even]! Who is next?” the Al Ahly manager posted on Instagram.

Did you know?

Mosimane is only the third manager in the history of the CAF Champions League to win the competition with two different clubs. He joins Argentine Oscar Fullone (ASEC Mimosas and Raja Casablanca) and Egypt's Mahmoud El Gohary who won it with Al Ahly and Zamalek.

Your thoughts, please?

Do you see Mosimane coaching in Europe within the next 10 years?
