Orlando Pirates legends Lucky Lekgwathi recently linked up with former Generations actress Letoya Makhene in support of a fledging locally-owned business. Here's a look!
The story
The former defender was spotted at the official store opening of the Dlozi Ngwana Badimo brand at Newtown Junction on the weekend. Lekgwathi is known to be a heavy supporter of local and black-owned businesses, thus it comes as no surprise to see him at such an event.
He was seen carrying to paper-bags, suggesting that he had just got his hands on a few pairs of sneakers, including one by Maribishi, another local label available at the store. Meanwhile, he wasn't the only famous face at the launch, as Makhene was also in attendance with her partner.

Lekgwathi seems to be always involved in various initiatives and business ventures, but so far it is unclear if he will eventually spread his wings onto the fashion industry. He currently owns Grootman Restaurant by Lucky Lekgwathi in Southdale in Johannesburg, while he also spearheads a charity foundation for the youth aimed at empowering aspiring young footballers.
The 46-year-old also remains a gym freak and this looks to have proven useful for him as he also often partakes in celebrity matches and legends' games.
