Drinking alcohol is a common practice in most societies, however, it is not something that is for everyone, particularly for some of the world’s most dedicated athletes as we look at 10 famous footballers who reportedly do not drink alcohol. 

The practice of consuming liquor has been a long-standing one and it dates back to generations before the current era. In that same vein, alcohol has never been a necessity for everyone and understandably so for professional sports stars like Cristiano Ronaldo and Mohamed Salah!

Ronaldo has evidently led a health-conscious life, as he is known for his tireless work in the gym, training ground, and the nutritional choices he makes to preserve his body and most importantly, his successful career. 

The Portuguese star has won several awards for his immaculate physique and fitness, including Sports Illustrated’s fittest mens’ athlete in 2020, where he ranked top for various categories including strength, speed, endurance, agility, flexibility, and skill in his or her respective sport. 

While his commitment as professional reigns supreme above all, we can speculate that his decision to not consume counter-productive beverages has aided him a lot in becoming the domineering sports star he is. 

Egyptian superstar Mohamed Salah is also understood to not be a consumer of alcoholic beverages. The Pharoah has also adopted a bit of a habit of taking off his shirt when celebrating important goals and having seen the muscle he is packing lately, one could tell that the Liverpool star has an impressive diet among other things.  

Although some times on this list might surprise you, various reports have suggested that the mentioned stars have previously stated that they do not indulge in liquor, and who are we not to take their word for it.
