After a dazzling Man of the Match display in Downs' 5-1 thrashing of Royal AM, Themba Zwane said in his post-match interview that the players are still aiming to break the DStv Premiership points record.
The current record stands at 71 points, which Sundowns set back in the 2015/2016 season and they currently sit on 59 points after yesterday's win.
Zwane also reserved praise for young Mabena, who replaced him in the 76th minute of the game, hailing him as a "top player".
Here's how the readers reacted to the "Zwane: We want to break the record" story:
"I think locally the record is already broken, with the quality of the players the team have, it is time to think more about the CAF Champions League.
"You cannot think about breaking PSL records after winning 6/7 league titles in a row.. At least by this time you should have won 2 to 3 champions league titles," says Fair Comment.
"Impressive touches by Siyabonga Mabena, we want to see more of him," says Dominate-downs.
