Former Baroka FC star Gerald Phiri has quite clearly moved on to greener pastures following his exit from the DStv Premiership and the player's lifestyle seems to have elevated since. Here's a look!

The story

The 29-year-old left the DStv Prem almost midway through the 2020/21 season for a switch to Sudan giants Al-Hilal. The move came as a bit of a shock, as the player was understood to have offers from a few South African top-flight clubs but he sealed a €89 000 (R1.6 million) move to North Africa instead, according to Transfermarkt

The move seems to going excellently for the player and many would imagine that the transfer earned him at least a pay rise, compared to whatever he was receiving at Baroka, who have since been relegated to the second-tier following his departure.

Aesthetically, the versatile player looks to be glowing, as he seems to have stepped it up a notch in the style department. While he was in Mzansi, nothing really stood out about the Malawian, fashion-wise. However, now he can frequently be seen rocking high-end brands like Louis Vuitton and Gucci.

One of his latest outfits saw his former boss at Baroka Dylan Kerr comment on Twitter: "Got dressed whilst loadshedding again haha". While it is unclear what the coach is suggesting by his remark, what is evident is that there's an affinity between the two and yes, Phiri's drip has some talking for sure.
