Mahlatse Makudubela

Former Lamontville Golden Arrows and Orlando Pirates star Mahlatse Makudubela has named his top five best-dressed footballers in South Africa, with three of them being current Buccaneers’ stars.

Seemingly on a hiatus from football, Makudubela has focused his attention on other ventures, including his business and photography.

His business is called Matape Care, and they supply cohesive bandages, kinesiology tape, therabands, foam rollers, as well as other sports equipment.

Meanwhile, he is also a photographer who does various advertising and marketing gigs, among others. According to his business' Instagram bio, his work includes real estate photography, videography, architectural photography, and aerial inspection as he is a certified drone pilot.

Makudubela revealed his top five best-dressed footballers in South Africa in an interview with Ballgame SA, where he named Mpho Makola, Thembinkosi Lorch, Manti Moholo, Fortune Makaringe, and Vincent Pule as his most stylish ballers.

While his top five seems solid, there may be one question mark, however, Makudubela has spoken and who can argue what he says when the style is a relative thing?

Cape Umoya United’s Manti Moholo and Pirates’ Vincent Pule are noticeably elegant dressers, and their personal style and grooming are unmistakably tasteful. Their sophistication oozes with every outfit they post dressed in, and one thing that becomes less distinguishable is that they are footballers rather than media personalities or some sort of celebrities in mainstream media.

Makaringe is undeniably no slouch as well, as he often serves a cool minimalist style that seems to reflect his humble aura.
