With DStv Premiership only set to resume from 16 January 2022 onwards, some South African topflight footballers have already begun unwinding. Here’s a look at some of their best snaps so far!
As the world looks forward to a new year, some ballers have taken this period as a time to head back home and spend time with their families. Others took it as an opportunity to go on holiday, while others don’t have the slightest chance to enjoy the break as they are heading to the African Cup of Nations.
As good as the latter might sound, we only focus on those ballers who simply have a much-needed summer break.

Who’s doing what?
With Mamelodi Sundowns being the table-toppers, we start at Chloorkop where their superstar goalkeeper Denis Onyango flew out to Uganda to spend some quality time with his family.
His teammate Gaston Sirino seems to be also doing more or less of the same thing, although he remains in South African shoes.
Masandawana’s break-out star Neo Maema appears to be in a relaxed mood after setting the first half of the campaign alight.
SuperSport United’s Teboho Mokoena is out in Cape Town, cruising on boats and riding quadbikes on the Atlantis Dunes.
