Paris Saint-Germain drop sensational away kit

Paris Saint-Germain have officially released their new grey away strip, modelled by the likes Lionel Messi, Sergio Ramos and Kylian Mbappe.

After releasing their home kit in June, the Ligue 1 champions have now showcased their new away kit, which is predominantly grey with black and brown variations.

The new gear was released with a corresponding performance, training and lifestyle ranges.  

PSG will wear the playing strip for the first time in the opening match of their Japan tour against defending J-League champions Kawasaki Frontale at Tokyo's National Stadium on Wednesday, 20 July. 

"Currently on a summer tour in Japan, Paris Saint-Germain have unveiled their away kit for 2022-2023 and the related Performance, training and lifestyle ranges. The collection includes the highly anticipated Air Jordan 5 Low PSG shoe revealed to the world in July by American basketball player Zion Williamson during his visit to Quai 54 in Paris," a statement from the club's official website read.

"Predominantly grey with black, brown and taupe variations, the pieces pay homage to the mythical Parisian enclosure which celebrates its 50th anniversary this year and in which the Parisian team has played 1 147 matches to date."

Interestingly, Neymar was not seen in the launch images for the new kit, with reports having previously suggested that the French club is looking to part ways with the Brazilian.
