A list has been created of the highest scoring surnames in South African football and there were some surprise additions.
In life, you will often meet people who have the same surname as you.
Football is the same where certain surnames are very common such as Zuma which belongs to Sibusiso Zuma, Dumisani Zuma and more.
Opta Jabu have recently released a list of surnames who have performed the best with regards to goals. Interestingly Nomvethe is among the top scorers despite being the only one to play football.

The Mayo family also have a history in the league with brothers Khanyisa and Khanyisile currently playing.
Meanwhile the Mashego's who are currently playing have no relation to Katlego Mashego.
