It has now been claimed by numerous publications that the Brazilian was lucky to escape unharmed after a horrific accident reportedly took place on New Years Eve.

A source close to the Sun said, "It was dark and wet and he made an error of judgement. He was shook up but thankfully no one else was involved and he wasn’t injured."
