The new Orlando Pirates signing played down his personal contribution as he lauded the support from the technical staff and his teammates, while urging the team to build on from their performance.
“This is a team sport,” said Mobara during the post-match press conference. “Besides my performance, I think the support and belief from the coach and technical staff brought out a lot in us, and the confidence and spirit was high in the team.
“Confidence wise, not just from me but from a team perspective, I think the team did exceptionally well despite the result. The fighting spirit was there and, even after going down by one man, the fighting spirit lifted even more.
“I think if we can continue on from this performance throughout the tournament then we can perform brilliantly.”
