'Aces have experience to match Ea Lla Koto'

accreditation

Aces - who campaign in the First Division’s Inland Stream - face Stars at a neutral venue, the Super Stadium in Atteridgeville Super Stadium.

“The experienced players in the team know what to expect and what to do,” says the DR Congo defender.

The presence of former PSL players Eddie Dinha, Michel Babale, Lucas Tlhomelang, Kabamba Musasa, Esau Mtsweni, Mandla Zwane and Thabang Rooi means Aces match Stars in terms of experienced players.

“There is no doubt that we respect Stars, but on the field of play we will prove that we can beat them. There is no reason to fear them because they were also playing in the First Division last season, just like us, and we are familiar with at least six to seven of their regular players,” says Musasa.

The former Orlando Pirates defender - popular for wearing white gloves - maintains that if they keep focus then half the job is done.

“The mood in the camp is encouraging because we know what is at stake. After missing out on the league title, we are all naturally motivated to reach the final and write a piece of history.

“We will really push hard to achieve what we and our supporters want. I also want to play in a cup final because it is not so often that a First Division side reaches this stage. I’ve never played in a cup final since I came to South Africa.”
