The Brave Warriors team arrived at Kotoka International Airport in Accra in the early hours of Thursday morning.
Namibia, who are in group A along side hosts Ghana, the Atlas Lions of Morocco and the Syli Stars of Guinea, will be based in the capital city of Accra during the group stages of the tournament.
The airport will get busier later today as five more of the competition’s candidates comprising Group B’s Nigeria and Mali, defending champions and Group C candidates Egypt and Cameroon; as well as Morocco are expected to fly in.
Tomorrow, Ivory Coast of Group C will be expected from their Kuwait base.
Earlier in the week the Chipolopolo Boys of Zambia became the first team to arrive for the tournament, which kicks off this Sunday.
They were followed by the Ghanaian squad, who had been in the UAE, and the Syli Stars of Guinea.
