The 24-year old player suffered from a broken arm that kept him out of action for two months. His return is set to consulate the boss Manuel Jose who had just lost Ahmed Fathi for eight months with an Achilles tendon injury.

Jose has named 19 players including strangely, third-choice keeper Mohamed Al-Shenawi who is not eligible to play in the African top competition.

The participation of Amir Abgdul-Hamid is still doubtful as he hasn't fully recovered from his leg injury but Ahmed Adel Abdul-Moneim made a good impression in the past couple of weeks.

Al Ahly clinched a record 33rd Egyptian league title on Monday after their goalless draw with Baladeya.The draw took Ahly’s points tally to 63 with five matches remaining, putting them out of reach of their closest contenders.

The title was Al Ahly's fourth in a row in the Egypt Premier League. They now have set their sights on ending the season unbeaten, having won 19 of their 25 matches to date with six draws.
